Project feedback on a Microsoft Dynamics CRM & ClickDimensions project for a large business law firm
One of the leading international business law firms based in Paris has chosen Microsoft Dynamics CRM and ClickDimensions to manage its client portfolio and communication. Alexandre, Senior CRM Consultant VISEO, gives his feedback
We have worked with a renowned business law firm. Alexandre Zietek, Senior CRM Consultant VISEO, involved in the project, gives us his feedback.
Define the client's objectives and needs
"I started the Dynamics project for the client last September for a period of 6 months. As a Senior Consultant, my mission was to identify the client's needs, analyze the gaps with the standard, configure the application and perform the data recovery," explains Alexandre.
The objective for the General Management was to acquire an efficient tool to manage its contact base and manage its communication campaigns.
The integration context was relatively unusual because law firms are generally not very sensitive to new technologies and poorly equipped with CRM due to data confidentiality.
The customer wanted to import contacts from Nomination, a provider of verified data. He wanted to be able to validate each contact before sharing them with his lawyers. Each lawyer then had the choice of subscribing to a contact or not to synchronize it in his Outlook email.
On the marketing side, the customer needed an intuitive and easy-to-use solution to build mailing campaigns and manage newsletter subscriptions
On the other hand, it was important that CRM be visually attractive: VISEO, which has significant experience in CRM integration with key account customers, has been able to synthesize needs and reassure the customer.
An intelligent subscription system
"We have met all of the customer's needs while building on the core features of Dynamics," says Alexandre. Based on the way the Standard works, we have implemented a development that allows lawyers to subscribe to contacts and synchronize them directly in their Outlook. So only useful contacts appear in their mailboxes."
A validation lock to verify the imported data
To ensure data quality, we have set up a validation lock. This lock allows the communication department to validate the accounts imported from the Nomination solution, verify the presence of duplicates or consult the audit:
The power of the ClickDimensions add-on to manage group marketing and communication
For the group's communication, VISEO carried out an integration of ClickDimensions. This add-on integrates fully with Microsoft CRM Dynamics and allows you to easily manage communication campaigns. The email designer in particular allows you to define a layout, add content or style easily (drag and drop). It also allows you to add a link to a web form (surveys, newsletter subscriptions, landing page).

Thanks to ClickDimensions, VISEO teams have set up forms that allow web visitors to register directly in the CRM and create or modify their subscriptions to newsletters.
"A challenging project"
"It was a very interesting project because it covered a wide spectrum of marketing issues such as creating an email, setting up complex surveys or web forms. The project was also very challenging and it took a lot of imagination and knowledge of the tool to support the customer who did not have any particular CRM experience."
The integration of a new tool like Click Dimensions allowed VISEO to show all its know-how and skills in the integration of Microsoft CRM Dynamics.
