Balibaris Begins Its 360-Degree Omnichannel Transformation with VISEO

Founded in 2010, Balibaris is a French ready-to-wear menswear brand known for offering on-trend designs that combine timeless style, high-quality materials, and sustainable production. The brand initially started as an online-only business, but quickly expanded by opening its first boutique-apartment in Paris’ 10th arrondissement. Balibaris captured the attention of Parisians and soon launched more collections and opened stores in top locations across the city. Today, Balibaris operates nearly 60 shops across France and two in London. 

Accelerating Omnichannel Customer Experience

As the brand continues to grow rapidly, Balibaris is focused on offering a seamless omnichannel customer experience. Whether shopping online or in-store, customers enjoy a unique and optimized journey based on three key pillars: 

  1. E-commerce Modernization
    Balibaris is upgrading its online shop by integrating new features like a consumer reviews widget and additional payment methods. This aims to enhance the digital shopping experience. 

  2. Retail Innovations
    In stores, the brand is introducing paperless receipts, gift cards, and a click-and-collect service. Redesigned logistics management includes ship-from-store and unified inventory, while sales staff are equipped with new tools to provide better service.

  3. Back-Office Transformation
    The brand is transitioning to SaaS (CEGID ORLI) and migrating its information systems to the cloud. This back-office modernization will improve efficiency and scalability.

VISEO Partnership for Digital Transformation

To tackle these ambitious projects, Balibaris partnered with VISEO, a company specializing in digital transformation. This collaboration marks the start of a professional adventure aimed at elevating Balibaris’ omnichannel experience.

Agile Approach for a Seamless Transition

VISEO’s team of experts, alongside their Retail & Omnichannel Centers of Excellence, developed an agile IT roadmap for Balibaris. This roadmap focuses on short and medium-term goals while modernizing the brand’s back-office and e-commerce platforms. 

According to Sébastien Gasnier, Omnichannel Activities Director at VISEO, “Our multidisciplinary team will implement back-office modernization, including shifting CEGID solutions to SaaS, providing new tools for store staff, and executing an aggressive e-commerce roadmap. Our goal is to deliver a seamless omnichannel customer experience.”
