VISEO partners with Fluent Commerce to help retailers recover and succeed
Fluent Commerce and VISEO will be working together initially on European retailers, including on a new omnichannel offering for a major pharmaceutical company in Spain. In the future the partnership will expand beyond retail to also include B2B and manufacturing customers.
VISEO and Fluent Commerce are joining forces to help businesses recover from the Covid-10 crisis and prepare for growth in the future. They enable commerce to react flexibly to fast changing environments.
VISEO has a presence in five continents with more than 2200 employees worldwide and applies technology as a powerful lever to help retailers transform and innovate. VISEO partners with retailers to support their growth and projects to ensure competitiveness and performance.
“The partnership with Fluent Commerce allows us to offer our clients a robust platform to facilitate an omnichannel activation and offer them a quick ROI after the crisis. We are convinced that certain practices that have accelerated during the crisis such as click and collect, the drive, and ship from store will continue and generate an improvement in the supply chain as well as the level of service for customers,” says Eric Perrier, CEO, VISEO.
“Fluent Commerce is delighted to partner with VISEO to support retailers in Europe with the inevitable recovery and growth phases that will follow our current global health and economic crisis. Working together we can customise a flexible order management platform to fit retailers omnichannel strategies. We can give retailers a single view of inventory and orders across all channels and provide customers with more convenient delivery and collection options to deliver a seamless omnichannel experience,” explains Rob Shaw, Managing Director EMEA, Fluent Commerce.
According to Shaw, retailers will try to reopen stores as soon as possible, but the challenge for many is that the closures have delayed releasing seasonal collections, and likely to miss physical trading for traditional high spending periods.
“Consumers will want to celebrate once Covid-19 is finally beaten back and under control. There will be a need to return to the feel-good factor and when the good weather starts to come, fashion retailers will, no doubt, see an early spike in spending. Certain age groups, especially the 18 to 30-year-old bracket may also see a larger than normal disposable income as they have been unable to go out during the virus outbreak. Savvy retailers who are preparing now will be ready to tap into this,” he says.
