Fluent Commerce and VISEO will be working together initially on European retailers, including on a new omnichannel offering for a major pharmaceutical company in Spain. In the future the partnership will expand beyond retail to also include B2B and manufacturing customers.

According to Shaw, retailers will try to reopen stores as soon as possible, but the challenge for many is that the closures have delayed releasing seasonal collections, and likely to miss physical trading for traditional high spending periods.


Consumers will want to celebrate once Covid-19 is finally beaten back and under control. There will be a need to return to the feel-good factor and when the good weather starts to come, fashion retailers will, no doubt, see an early spike in spending. Certain age groups, especially the 18 to 30-year-old bracket may also see a larger than normal disposable income as they have been unable to go out during the virus outbreak. Savvy retailers who are preparing now will be ready to tap into this,” he says.
