Europe Snack, a Vendée company specialising in the production of savoury snacks for 25 years, has installed the Colibri sales forecasting solution, launched by VISEO in 2014, with the aim of improving performance.

With continuous growth since its creation, limited resources due to the need to allocate them to other projects, annual losses of 150k€ related to lapses and a service rate directly impacted by the quality of forecasts, Europe Snacks had to evolve.
The producer has therefore decided to implement a forecasting process in order to improve performance, reduce loss costs and time consumption.
For 18 months, the group used Excel but quickly reached the limits of the tool at different levels:

Tedious management of new articles and substitution
Potential for insufficient collaboration
Complexity of use
Manual actions that can lead to errors.
In 2016, Europe Snacks decided to look for a sales forecasting tool. "Our choice was Colibri because of its rapid implementation, the SaaS rental mode allowing us to test the solution free of charge before purchase, the very fast ROI and the ergonomics of the system," explains Sébastien Mare, Supply Chain Europe Snacks Manager.
Ergonomics proved to be a key point, as the producer's forecasting process was collaborative. It was necessary to have an easy-to-use tool to interact with sales people.
