Hackathon Salesforce


The Salesforce Commerce Cloud & MuleSoft Challenge Hackathon now has winners 

The team’s AlexForce project, a virtual Hotel assistant, has won the Hackathon for Salesforce and MuleSoft specializing in eCommerce and APIs. 

The awards ceremony took place on Thursday, November 25th at the Iberostar Las Letras Hotel in Madrid.  


A judging panel of experts put together by the organization, as well as Salesforce partners and clients, has selected the winning project from dozens of teams. These professionals have developed their projects over the course of the 12-week competition.

The challenge: Salesforce + MuleSoft 

Salesforce, a global leader in CRM, together with MuleSoft, an integration software company, teamed up in September to launch their first online Hackathon in Spain.  


The goal of the Salesforce Commerce Cloud & MuleSoft Challenge has been to improve the consumer shopping experience. And to this end, each team had to present a project with the best online or omni-channel shopping experience aimed at consumers, based on the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and Commerce Cloud Developer Center tools. Furthermore, participants had the option of simulating the use of any other Salesforce solution in the prototype.  

The winning projects 

In addition to the winning team AlexForce, with their project for virtual voice assistants that carries out orders and makes payments, the Moody Velociraptors Cry (MVC) team in second place and Los Tiradores team in third place have also been rewarded. 


Second prize has been given to a Marketplace project that provides the chance to order “Zero Kilometer Tapas,” committing to sustainability. And the third prize project provides a broader digital vision of a Shopping Mall where users can access its services and products from their PC.
