VISEO Asia at Startup Agile Group Meetup

The objective of the talk was to introduce Design Thinking and especially present some of the methodologies we use in Viseo Asia to run a design thinking process for most of our digital projects. Our methodologies are hands-on and efficient, as our clients usually don’t have too much time to run a full design thinking process.

We propose a full range of tools for user research and then we organize workshops to complete the empathy phase, using UX templates (personas, empathy maps, user journeys…). Another bunch of workshops will then support our customer for ideation, to come up with as many ideas as possible, and be able to categorize and prioritize them. Once ideas are defined and structured, the next step will be wireframing and prototyping, before coming back to the user and test.

This process is crucial to take the right decisions in a project. That’s why during our talk, after a quick presentation of our process, we organized a workshop about empathy, to make the participants understand the significance of this first step in every project. In fact, everyone realized that what they think is not always what the user really wants or needs.
