Get started in less than six months

A cloud-mode ERP system can be implemented more quickly than a conventional solution. No more long, costly projects lasting a year or more. With SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud, the average implementation time is less than six months. It can even be as little as three months, if very strict scheduling is applied and if the customer is prepared to forgo their suggestions in favor of maximum standardization of processes.

A test environment is accessible from day 1 of the project. It consists of processes that have already been implemented and documented, thus making the design phase easy. Users are immediately part of the project and can be involved in planning the solution.

The scoping step determines which functional building blocks need to be enabled to cover the requirements expressed. During fit-to-standard workshops, the processes are rolled out in the presence of key users in order to check that using the ERP best practices approach meets the company's requirements. The costs for using SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud are fixed and clearly defined, with a price calculated per user. The minimum is 30 FUE (Full Usage Equivalents), corresponding to 30 advanced users, or 90 core users (1/3 FUE each), or 900 self-service users (1/30 FUE each).

This cost includes the provision of the solution, hosting on an appropriate server, updates of the whole system and upgrades. As the functionality of the solution stabilizes, upgrades should decrease from four to two a year, making it easier to adopt them and to carry out regression tests.

Depending on the complexity of your SAP system and how closely it complies with the standards offered within the ERP system, support can be provided directly by key users and regression tests reduced to the essential. However, it is still advisable to make use of third-party application maintenance (TPM) for this.
