For the International Women's Day, a sample of our employees spoke out and shared their feelings about this day and the values promoted.

Ok-Im FLAMMANC

Ok-Im, SAP FICO Consultant

since 3 years at VISEO (New York)

Can you tell us about your background?

I was born in South Korea and went to high school in my native country. Then I moved to England to continue my education.

After England, I wanted to learn French because I was passionate about this language, so I enrolled at the Michel Du Montagne University in Bordeaux to learn French.

After eight months in France, I worked as an interpreter at GEC ALSTHOM for the export of the TGV to South Korea.

20 years later, I went back to school to obtain a Master's degree in Management Control.

In 2017, I did POEI at VISEO to learn SAP.

What is your current position?

I have been a SAP FICO Consultant since 2017, including 3 months in Morlaix, France, then VISEO USA until today.

At the beginning, I was only doing TMA and since the beginning of 2019, I have been working with clients to provide user support and to carry out mini projects to meet their needs.

If you had one thing to say to women who might be apprehensive about working in the IT/engineering sector, what would it be?

I discovered SAP while studying for my Master's degree and was immediately passionate about it despite the many difficulties I encountered. In spite of all this, if you like something, I can say today that it's worth trying even if it seems completely crazy or impossible.

What would be your final word on this International Women's Day?

It's never too late to learn something new or to pursue your dream.

Celine de Robillard

Céline, Head of Connected Customers

since 3 years at VISEO (Singapore)

Can you tell us about your background?

After graduating to ESSEC Business School, I started in a digital agency a bit by chance (interactive planet, which was later bought by Isobar) as a Project Manager and then Account Manager, at the very beginning of websites.

Then I moved to VirginMega (for the launch of a music download platform competing with ITunes), as Marketing Director.

Then I left as a freelancer, Digital Strategy Consultant and user experience, I worked for major accounts, mainly for Bouygues Telecom.

At the same time, I participated in the creation of a start-up company selling royalty-free music online for image professionals.

I arrived in Singapore five years ago, started working there as a freelancer and then joined VISEO APAC.

What is your current position?

I manage the customer experience in general, i.e. I manage the UX/UI designers team and the e-commerce / omnichannel team. I work in pre-sales, I am a consultant on some missions and I manage the UX/UI and e-commerce teams.

If you had one thing to say to women who might be apprehensive about working in the IT/engineering sector, what would it be?

We need you! There are too few of us, and the sector would benefit from becoming more feminine. Working in IT means working on the modernisation of companies and the digitalisation of processes. It's exciting. It's not just the job of a specialist technician. What's more, the atmosphere is not overwhelming, and that's very appreciable.

What would be your final word on this International Women's Day?

Never limit yourself because you are a woman!

Catherine Nigron salama

Catherine, S2P Practice Manager

since 10 years at VISEO (Sydney)

Can you tell us about your background?

After 2 years of Preparatory School (Hypokhâgne and Khâgne), I wanted to pursue my studies in a Business School as I wanted to have multiple options before choosing a specialisation field for my professional career. I chose to study at the Institut Supérieur de Commerce of Paris (ISC Paris) because they offered a panel of 13 specialisations and the option of joining a non-profit organisation incorporated to their Program. I discovered the Information System and decided to specialise in this field, and got a Master’s Degree in “Management of Information and Technology” with a specialisation in Information System.

I joined VISEO France in 2010 and integrated the SP2 Team as a ReadSoft consultant. I was passionate about Accounts Payable process optimisation and wanted to develop an expertise in this field. VISEO gave me the opportunity to develop these skills and even more, as I started to manage projects and work on presale activities with the help of my mentors. I became Senior consultant and then a Manager.

VISEO then offered me the opportunity to continue this beautiful journey in Australia, and recently to manage the S2P Practice in the APAC region, to expand our S2P offer on the local market.

What is your current position?

I look after the S2P Delivery Project Team and I’m managing the sales activities to develop our S2P offer on the APAC market.

I also work on projects implementation, as well as projects upgrades, but what I like the most is reviewing the process and solution of our customers to try to see how we can streamline their Accounts Payable process and bring further automation.

I love being on the field, it helps me to stay updated with the new release/features of the products, better understand the challenges met by our customers and see how we can better assist them.

If you had one thing to say to women who might be apprehensive about working in the IT/engineering sector, what would it be?

There is nothing to be scared of. It’s actually the opposite if you like challenges. I feel like women bring a balance in the IT world, as we give lots of attention to details, we are patient, resilient, and our sensitivity and empathy help us to better understand customers. It’s our strength and I believe that helps us make a difference in IT projects.

What would be your final word on this International Women's Day?

Always believe in yourself, in your values and in your capabilities. Men may be strong, but we are more resilient, more agile and this is our strength. So believe in the fact that you can make the difference in everything you do.

Chrriselle Moyou

Christelle, SAP FICO Consultant

since 11 years at VISEO (Morlaix)

Can you tell us about your background?

After a bachelor's degree in Economics and Social Sciences, I got a Master's degree in Economic and Social Sciences specialising in "Business and Administrative Management".

Then, I worked in management control in the agri-food industry for almost 10 years. Following a collective redundancy plan, I joined a SAP FICO project management position. A job that I didn't know but that is when I discovered the SAP world. I joined VISEO in 2009 as a SAP FICO Consultant.

What is your current position?

Today, I am a SAP FICO Consultant in Third-Party Application Maintenance for several clients. I provide support and evolutionary assistance to around fifteen clients whose fields of activity are very varied and therefore with very specifics problems and solutions.

I am also the Team Mentor of junior/confirmed consultants. I support them on a daily basis in their skill development and in the monitoring of their professional evolution.

If you had one thing to say to women who might be apprehensive about working in the IT/engineering sector, what would it be?

Even if the IT/engineering sector is predominantly male, we shouldn't stop at prejudices and stereotypes, this sector offers a wide variety of jobs and functions.

Consulting requires curiosity, the desire to learn on a daily basis and a sense of human relations, these are very feminine qualities!

We are not alone behind a computer all day long, there is a lot of interaction and exchange with colleagues and clients.

What would be your final word on this International Women's Day?

Happy day to all women! Don't forget that it's also our day on the other 364 days!

Have confidence in yourself! Don't let anyone think and act in your place!
