Our client, a French luxury apparel house for men and women, operates in more than 600 points of sale around the world as of today.

 

The Challenges

Our client, operating 25 stores across China Mainland, Hong Kong, and Macao, needed a robust POS system to unify and manage their operations. The challenges were multifaceted:

  • Complex Project Organization: With stakeholders dispersed across three locations, managing the project cohesively was challenging.
  • Multiple System Integrations: The new POS needed to integrate with several existing systems, including UFIDA for financials, DHL and Cargo for logistics, and BQ for customer relationship management.
  • Cost Calculation Integration: Accurate cost calculations had to be performed within the CEGID Y2 system and integrated back into the UFIDA financial system.
  • 3PL Integration: Different third-party logistics providers in mainland China and Hong Kong/Macao needed to be seamlessly integrated with CEGID Y2.
  • Customer and Loyalty Management: Efficiently managing customer data and loyalty programs within the new system was crucial.
